Purchased this & cannot open the train to insert the batteries. What a waste. Not likely to recommend or purchase from this line again. What a shame that is so poorly designed

Love the cute new anime look! HIgh quality, well packaged and swiftly dispatched.

Very poor. Rubbish

Mattel have kept the battery compartment the same but redesigned the train. Its the same usual cheap tacky plastic as before but the outcome is horrendous
My little boy lost interest almost instantly at this abysmal product
Its same with the new Thomas and friends all engines go show that these abominations are to go with.
Hopefully they'll have a very short shelf life and make Mattel take the train designs back to their original forms
