[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys have been mesmerised by it! Story time is our favourite time of the day and this has been a wonderful addition. This story telling machine projects pictures and text so that you can read along whilst the narrator tells the story. My son loves choosing the story, putting the cassette in and pushing the buttons. The three stories that came with the machine were a big hit in our house and we listened to them all three times straight away. We have since bought more stories as both of my boys enjoy using it so much! The quality of the sound and pictures is brilliant and I think it is a great alternative to screen time. We also really enjoyed the sleep sounds and soothing light at bedtime. I can see my son getting more and more from this as he learns to read.
Whilst this will never replace Mummy or Daddy reading a bedtime story, this is definitely a great way to incorporate more reading and stories into our day in a fun way!

Nostalgic, comforting and engaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Tikes Story Dream Machine, is bright, colourful, nostalgic, calming, interactive and adorable. my four year old has proudly shown his brothers and all of his friends how to start the story, eject the disk, focus the camera lens and turn it over to the white noise and loves being in charge of changing the story during storytime. Although my two year old is still learning how to work the machine, he often brings it to me and asks for 'ducky' his favourite story.
The stories and animation are super sweet and the perfect length to keep little ones engaged and wanting more.
The Story Dream Machine offers a nostalgic feel, remember the video player being rolled into class, It's super cute, a great alternative to screen time and perfect for bedtime snuggles or daytime dens and honestly once you've got a few stories you will be wanting to expand your collection.

I bought this before Christmas for my granddaughter’s 3rd birthday yesterday. Both she and her 8 year old brother haven’t stopped watching it since. More fairy tales please… for the sake of our sanity!!!

Lovely little machine

This is a fantastic machine, with an incredibly great design and a terrific alternative to spending time together as a family without TV. It would also help children learn to read/practice reading in a slightly different way from the traditional method, so maybe even those who can't be tied to a table to read a book would enjoy reading more. But... the number of available stories is very limited, especially in the UK! If this changes, then this is a great gift for both young and old.

Life changing toy for a smooth bedtime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best things I’ve had! My 3 year old daughter loves reading so she absolutely fell in love with the story dream machine. It is now part of our night time routine and it’s so easy to use that I can just leave my daughter to it. It honestly makes an amazing Christmas/Birthday gift. I can’t wait to buy more story collections for my daughter to enjoy.
