Stopped erasing correctly in less than a week

It has been less than a week, and the board has already stopped erasing correctly (we have to do it 2-3 times to clear it properly now). Part of the drawing board has already worn down to the point where we can see the orange casing though it. Even with excessive use, it should have lasted significantly longer than a week before showing signs of wear and tear. I would not recommend this product.

I bought three of these for my great grandchildren, they love playing with them and are really good value. The small ones are great to take out with you and keep little ones occupied in the car. Would recommend
