I'm considering buying this to post to Germany for my friend's son's Christmas present! I'm not sure how big this is in the packaging, is it quite compact? Or would you say it's a little too big? Any advice much appreciated. Thank you.

Asked by: Natalie
Agree with above comment re postbox being smaller than adult shoe box, and is quite light .

Is the door located at the front and is the post box wall mountable?

Asked by: Emma
As above.... Just had a look and don't think it's mountable. Really good product and would highly recommend it.

What width is the hole, can you fit real letters or cards through it ?

Asked by: Kerry
No, not wide enough for that. But you could make little cards like I have? That do fit. I just rubber stamped them in the corner to look like real letters!

Hi, interestingly our door fell off too and I couldn't fix it so for Christmas we asked for a new one. Why does your new design have a hole in the back?? It's rubbish. The letters fall out and definitely fall out if the child is carrying it anywhere?

Asked by: Caroline
We've not had issues with the hole at the back. I think they probably thought putting the hole in the back would give an alternative option to the door and would prolong its use. My 2 year old uses both the door entrance and the hole in the back to retrieve the letters and we've so far not had an issue with the quality of the door. Although only owned it for just little over one month but it has been played with lots In that time frame. The letters do indeed fall out when not carried correctly, but I just keep showing my 2 year old over and over, that he has to keep it upright and he soon got the message ?

my darling daughter, through playing with this so much, has managed to pull the door off and break the elastic. Although it looks easy enough to reattach the door if the elastic was fixed, it looks like the elastic is glued into the door ... any ideas o
