Rated 2 out of 5 by from An OK toy. Bought this for my 7 month old. Not very loud or exciting. A little disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor sound Not sure if I had a faulty one but it was so quiet even on the loudest setting. There is also very little too it. It doesn't do a lot and therefore doesn't keep little ones entertained for long. Glad I had this in the sale and also had an extra % off on top.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed. The quality is OK, but it has very little interactive ability. The video online made it look cute and fun but it does very little and does not hold the baby's interest at all. The animals should do more. I thought they'd do stuff when pressed etc but all you can do is press the key board, which changes the sound and the animal opens it's mouth, once. It was advertised at half price for £15, when it arrived the price label on the box was £25. So not half price. Which I thought was a little naughty. Baby (6-8 months) not keen, is the short message to others looking to buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sound quality and loudness was poor Not sure if this one was faulty but will be returning it as the sound was poor and was quiet even when adjusted to highest setting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish! Thankfully I bought this in the sale and I’m mainly writing this so people arent coned out of £30 which is an outrageous price for the product that you get. The noise of pressing the keys and the animals mouths opening is actually louder than the music itself so you can’t hear a thing. The mouths of the animals hardly move! My daughter has showed no interest in this toy at all, complete waste of money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing My 8 month old shows no interest in this toy as she can hardly hear the animal noises and the movement is so slight that she has not made any connection between pressing the keys and the fact that this makes anything happen.

how does this toy affect a child?

Asked by: katie
Hi Katie, Great for your child's development: The Singing Animal Keyboard is a fun way to boost early musical skills by getting your little one to listen as they play. Your baby will love listening to all the funny animal sounds as they sing along, and it's great fun to play together and talk about the names of the animals. ELC star quality: We love the Singing Animal Keyboard because it features familiar, well-known tunes, so you and your little one can sing along with the animals! The different modes of play are fun to experiment with, and your little one can begin by listening to the full tunes in one mode, and then try to recreate them in Mode 1 as they listening and dexterity skills improve. Regards, Pauline
