Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best paint I have been getting this paint for my children for 4 years. I have tried other brands and they are not as good. These paints are think and cover well. They can stain which is why we would always wear old clothes for painting. Would never buy any other paint. Highly recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Look at the label We bought five bottles of paint. On picking them up from the shop we noticed the advisory label. These paints will stain! Crazy for paints for under-fives. Got a refund and found(cheaper) washable paints elsewhere. Beware.

Questions & Answers

Hi, is it washable? I mean on kids hands n fingures, tiles, walls?

Asked by: Mommy
Hello, Thank you for your query The paint is washable on hands and fingers. However, all paints have a potential to stain and for this reason we print a warning on our paints to this effect. It is the pigment in the paint which causes the stain and to reduce it would seriously effect the quality of the product. Our suppliers have researched the problem of paint staining, but with so many different man-made fibres it's impossible to find a common solution for the removal of paint stains. We always recommend children should wear painting overalls or old clothes in all creative situations and care should be taken to prevent paint spilling on to soft furnishings and carpets. If staining does occur, we advise that garments should be soaked overnight in cold water, followed by washing with household soap, avoid the use of biological washing powders, bleach and solvents. I note that you have followed the washing instructions but it may be that repeated washing, together with gentle scrubbing, will result in the stains lessening or disappearing altogether. I hope this helps

I bought an identical bottle 1 year ago but it said it was suitable from 1 1/2 years in the bottle. Why is it now not??

Asked by: Poppy
Thanks for your query. We have to had the bottles tested to 3+ however this because of the lid. We are currently working towards a new lid which will pass at 18m+ and as soon as we can we will bring this to the market. (the paint is fine to use from 18m+ , but a child under 3 years should not have access to the bottle) Hope this helps. Regards,
