returns and exchanges

We are happy to refund or exchange any product*† returned within 30 days of purchase (excluding delivery charges), as long as it is returned in its original state, unused and in original packaging. Proof of purchase is required. Please note any purchases made in our Mothercare Outlet store are excluded from this policy.

†Exclusions - software, DVDs, gift vouchers and gift cards. If any items are returned that were part of a multi-buy promotion, all items must be returned.

*This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty or mis-described.

All items can be returned to any UK ELC or Mothercare store. Take the products along with proof of purchase to your nearest store and a colleague will arrange a refund. If you have made a purchase online via Paypal, you will need to provide the store with the credit or debit card in the same name as the order on your delivery note and photo ID such as your passport

Alternatively you can return the item to our warehouse directly at the address below. All returned goods must be accompanied by a delivery note (this comes with the delivery of your goods), with completed details on the reverse.

If you need advice before you return an item please ring us on 0371 231 3513. Please note any postage incurred by returning the item(s) to us will not be refunded.

If you purchased a 'Web Exclusive' product, ELC will arrange the collection free of charge. Please contact our Customer Care Team on 0371 231 3513. We may ask you to post this back to the supplier and we will refund you any postage costs. Please obtain proof of posting when returning these items.
