Returns Promise

Mothercare and ELC are happy to refund/exchange any unused merchandise returned within 30 days of purchase upon production of your receipt*, as long as they are returned in an unused condition and in their original packaging.

This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty or misdescribed.

* Exclusions - toiletries, software, DVDs, food (including formula milk), Tens machines, Gift Vouchers, Gift Cards and opened mattresses. Pushchairs see terms and conditions issued at time of sale. If any items are returned that were part of a multi buy promotion all items must be returned.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order if it has not been despatched or within 8 working days of receipt of the goods. If you wish to cancel your order, please email us at contactus@elc.co.uk or call our Customer Services team at 0871 231 3511 or write to us at Customer Services, Cherry Tree Road, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD24 6SH. We will refund the cost of your order including delivery charge if the order has not been despatched or you have informed us of the cancellation within 8 working days of the receipt of goods. You must pay for the return postage.

We are pleased to let you know that you can also use the Collect+ facility for your convenience.

To request a Collect+ label, please click here to print your own label. Alternatively you can call us on 0871 231 3513 and one of our Customer Care Agents will be happy to assist you. You can use the Collect+ link to find your nearest store.

Most Collect+ stores are open very early in the morning to very late at night, making dropping off your parcel really convenient. Please bear in mind that the stores can only accept parcels of approximately 10kg in weight and the approximate size of airline 'cabin baggage' - 50cm x 30cm x 30cm.

Returning an ELC item to a Mothercare store or a Mothercare Item to an Early Learning Centre Store

We're pleased to say that you can return your Early Learning Centre items to any Mothercare store. However, we currently cannot accept Mothercare goods back into an Early Learning Centre Store.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Returned Items but have not received refund

Our refunds are processed when your items arrive back at our warehouse. Please allow 14 days for the refund to be processed.

In the unlikely event that you haven't received your refund within this time, please contact our customer care team by clicking on the contact us link at the bottom of the page or by phone on 0871 231 3513 from 8am - 8pm Monday - Friday and 9am - 5pm Sunday.

Incorrect Item received

We do have tight measures in place to ensure all orders are successful and correct, so I apologise this has slipped through and you've received an incorrect item. We have a few options to sort this out for you as quickly as possible:

1. You can take the item to your local store to exchange for the correct item. Please take your advice note with you to show the store staff the error. They will then be delighted to sort this out for you.

2. Call us on 0871 231 3513 or email us by clicking on the Contact ELC button, stating the item received and the item you wanted. We'll then arrange to send you the correct item.
