How to play:
Fishing for letters
Let's pick a picture card and look at the word. Fish for letters, and see who can build their word first.
Let's fish for letters to make new words. Spell out your name, put the alphabet in order, or invent your own crazy words to say out loud.
Separate the cards into vowels and consonants. Ask your child to make some simple three letter words with a vowel in the middle. Help him or her to sound them out.
Encourage your child to copy the words on the cards and draw a picture underneath them.
