Features and benefits for Schleich Quetzalcoatlus

A type of pterosaur dinosaur from the Cretaceous period, the Quetzalcoatlus was a bird-like reptile that could grow as tall as a modern-day giraffe. It had a long neck and wings to fly with, but could have also walked on all fours, and was lighly covered in fur. It may have fed like a vulture, searching for carcasses, or it may have eated small creatures. The Quetzalcoatlus inherited its name from the Meso-American deity Quetzalcoatl, a flying serpent.
Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts.
