Click and collect

You can now have your order delivered to your local ELC or Mothercare store for collection (earliest 6th January 2016). You will be offered a selection of dates on which you wish to collect your items (earliest 4th January 2016).

Free on all orders*. Only available on selected lines.

All items in basket must be available for Click and collect. Please see individual product pages for details.

Please be advised that we will hold your order for a maximum of 7 days, after which time your order will be returned to our warehouse

Standard Delivery

We will deliver all stocked items within 3-5 days.*
Exclusions apply. For more information click here

Exceptional circumstances beyond our control such as bad weather or courier delays may cause your order to take longer to deliver

Deliveries are made Monday-Friday between 9am and 17:30pm, during peak times your delivery may arrive between 7.30am and 9pm. smaller items may be delivered via Royal Mail

Free on all UK orders over £50 and charged at £3.95 per order for orders under £40 (excluding Channel Islands).

Express Delivery (UK Mainland only)

Order before 4pm Monday - Friday for next working day delivery

Deliveries are made Monday-Saturday between 7am and 9pm.

Express delivery is not available on weekends and bank holidays.

Website Exclusive Standard Delivery

There are varying delivery time frames for Website Exclusive products. Please refer to the individual product detail page or your order confirmation e-mail for details.

Deliveries are made Monday-Friday between 9am and 17:30pm, during peak times your delivery may arrive between 7.30am and 9pm.

 

Note: both Express Delivery and Click and collect are not available on these products.

Split Deliveries

Please note in some cases your order may be sent in more than 1 parcel. If you do not receive everything you were expecting in your delivery, please wait a further 2 working days before contacting us as the goods will be in transit.

Delivery Exclusions

Please note that at present we are unable to provide the Express delivery service if your basket includes items with extended delivery (for example, nursery furniture)l. If an extended delivery item is added to a basket where you wish to use Express, you will be unable to select the Express delivery option in checkout. TO be able to order these items, you will nned to place 2 separate orders: 1st order: with extended delivery items 2nd order: remaining items in your basket..

Please see the product detail page for the specific delivery lead times for certain types of products which are delivered direct to you via a separate courier. We are unable to offer delivery on these items to offshore addresses

Postcode Exclusions

There are restricted postcode areas where we are unable to offer an Express delivery service. These areas are as follows:

  1. Aberdeen: AB
  2. Dundee: DD8-11
  3. Channel Islands (includes Alderney & Sark): all GY and JE
  4. Western Isles: all HS
  5. Isle of Man: all IM
  6. Inverness-shire: all IV
  7. Fife: KY
  8. Ayrshire: all KA 27-28
  9. Orkney Islands: KW 1-3, 5-17
  10. Renfrewshire: PA 20-49, 60-78
  11. Perthshire: PH 19-26, 30-44, 49-50
  12. Cornwall: TR 21–25
  13. Shetland Isles: all ZE
  14. Nothern Ireland: BT 1-99

Extended Delivery

Selected items such as large, bulky or website exclusive items may take a little longer to deliver; if so, this will be indicated on the product information and order summary pages. Please note that some items are only available for delivery to Mainland UK and can not be sent to offshore islands or Northern Ireland – please refer to individual products for delivery restrictions.

Please note that you may be charged if you return unwanted products.

What happens if you are not home when your order is delivered?

If you are not in when we attempt delivery, we will leave you a card so that you can rearrange delivery at a convenient time, alternatively we may leave your parcel with a neighbour and leave you a card to advise you.

Click and collect Service

What is Click and collect?

When you order you now have a choice of having your order delivered to you at home or work, or you can collect it from your local ELC or Mothercare store. This service is available in the UK. Please be advised that we will hold your order for a maximum of 7 days, after which time your order will be returned to our warehouse

Is there a charge for Click and collect?

No, this service is free of charge for all orders.

How soon can I collect my order?

When you place your order, you will be able to choose a day that suits you for collection. If you order before 6pm, you will usually be able to select a date from 2 working days (excluding weekends & bank holidays). At peak times, the lead time may be extended. If you are collecting your order from Inverness, Aberdeen, Jersey or Northern Ireland, there may be an additional day's delay. If you ordered on the Web, you will receive an email and text message confirming when your order is ready for collection provided you have entered a mobile number and an active email address. If you have not received your text or email confirmation by your selected delivery date, please contact your chosen store directly.

How can I choose Click and collect?

Delivery options are shown on our online product pages to let you know whether the item is available for home delivery or Click and collect. At checkout, you will be able to choose your delivery option & the ELC or Mothercare store to collect from.

If you place your order in a participating store or by phone, please tell the customer assistant that you would like to collect the order from a participating store.

What do I need to bring when I collect my order?

When you collect your order, you will be asked for your order reference number. Please bring a printout of your order summary document as proof of purchase, or the text or email sent confirming your order is now available for collection, when you collect your order. Otherwise, please make a note of your order details and order number and take them with you to the store.

Can someone else collect my order for me?

Yes. They will need to answer security questions about you: your name, home address and email address or telephone number. It would be helpful if they could bring a printout of your order summary document as proof of purchase when collecting your order. If you can't print the document, please ask them to take a note of your order number and details as they will be needed at the store.

What happens if I don't pick up my order?

If you are unable to collect your order for any reason, please phone the store and let them know. Please be advised that we will hold your order for a maximum of 7 days, after which time your order will be returned to our warehouse.

Email me when available

Items with an "Email me when available" option are normally expected to be available in 4 to 8 weeks. If you request an email we will send one to you as soon as the item becomes available to order on the website.
