This should be the greatest ever product but is let down by one fundamental flaw. It's got one note which is really badly out of tune.

I so wanted to get one of these for our little one. It's a great idea both as a first piano-type instrument and as a xylophone with the ability to learn tunes from the colour coded sheets. The piano is supposed to give a major scale. However, trying it out the 6th note is a whole semitone out of tune. This renders the xylopiano pretty much useless and any tunes played using the included sheet music would sound pretty odd indeed.

I initially thought it would probably just be a one off and that trying a few different ones would find a nicely in tune one. No, it's a design flaw EVERY one I have tried (and I've tried every one in every ELC within a 30 mile radius of out town) has the same flattened note on the sixth key. They are designed, manufactured and imported with this problem.

So near but yet so far! Finally sourced a xylopiano produced by a department store in a neighbouring town (which was in tune) and purchased that instead.
