Great kitchen - plenty of room for 2 children to play together.
I probably wouldn't have paid full price, but well worth the £75 I paid.
Took a couple of hours to put together but instructions are clear

The kitchen looks great and is of high quality. I brought this for my daughter who is younger than the target age range for this product (she is 18 months) but enjoys playing with it and there are no obvious dangers such as small parts that would restrict younger children using it. Only reason I gave 4 stars is taking into account value of money. I brought this for £75 and I am happy with that but £150 would be over priced especially when you get nothing but a chopping board with it. You will need to spend min. £25 buying add on products.

I've just had this kitchen delivered and had a peek inside the box straight away, looks like the great quality you'd expect from elc - HOWEVER the colour it shows the kitchen to be in the catalogue and on the website is very misleading. Far from being a 'sky' blue or a light cobolt as it appears, it's actually a duck egg blue/pale turqoise. The colour itself is very pleasant, but if like me, you chose it to match a particular colour scheme with other items (in my case, a playhouse painted and decorated with sky blue & white accessories) it doesn't match at all. But as I got it at half price and then with an extra 20% off, it was a bargain so I will be keeping it. I would never have paid £150 for it though as it doesn't come with anything!

We brought this kitchen when it was on sale and we also used the ELC birthday voucher of 20% off that my son was sent this month (the month before his birthday if you've registered with the Birthday Club) and so we got it for only £60! A bargain! He loves playing with it and likes filling up his kettle with the sink and taps and now we're looking to start collecting some cutlery, play food etc. for him to really get some fun out of it. It took me maybe a couple of hours to put together but I was pleased it was really quite simple to do and follow the instructions. Great purchase so far!

this has been one of the best buys so far. Our 2year old son loves being creative and plays with it throughout the day. We bought the fruit and vegetables to chop which he enjoys chopping. And also bought a set of pans. The kitchen has enough room for 2or more children to move around and play with it.

Christmas pressy for my 2 year old son, he loves his new kitchen and hasn't stopped playing with since. The kitchen is well made and good quality, wouldn't have paid £150 as far too expensive but got in sale then with further discount so a good buy. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars as it took my husband nearly 3 hours to assemble and he is good at DIY! The product information said 45 mins to an hour which I think needs revising. Also I agree with the previous reviewer some pots and pans should be included, I had to purchase some separately. All in all I am really pleased with the kitchen and glad I bought.

This wooden kitchen looks lovely once fully assembled. It's relatively long yet slimline (compared to the more boxy plastic kitchens) so provides plenty of opportunity for play without taking up too much space. However, it is a real pain to put together. This took my husband and I several hours to assemble together and it was disappointing to find that some of the nuts/bolts were fautly and did not screw together correctly, meaning that we left some of the elements off the kitchen as we didn't have time to sort out replacement parts before Christmas - really disappointing for the price, even when purchased in the sale. For example, some of the screws didn't even have the indentations for a Philips screwdriver which meant they were impossible to use at all. The sequencing of the assembly instructions was obscure, meaning we had to attach some elements at really awkward angles toward the end when we could have attached them much more easily earlier in the process. As pointed out by a previous reviewer, the numbering used in the instructions was also not straightforward so you have to use some intuition to assemble the kitchen correctly - not easy when you are on the third hour of construction! All in all a good kitchen but, certainly for the price, I would expect it to come fully assembled or at the very least a lot less time consuming and more straightforward to construct. On a final note, I would also expect this to come with a few basic accessories - is it really out of the question to include two saucepans given that people are being asked to pay £150??

I am so pleased with this purchase, I bought it to replace a plastic kitchen that had seen better days. It's big enough for my 2 and 3 yr old boys to share and doesn't take up too much room. It has a very good finish and seems very durable. It took a while for my husband to put it together (over 2hrs) but it was worth it to see the look on the boys faces in the morning. It has received lots of compliments from visitors.
