Brought this kitchen few months before christmas as there was an offer on but obviously could not put together until christmas eve.

It took 4.5 hour for my dad to put together due to faulty bolts which was really frustrating as was worried my little girl was going to be without her christmas present. Think people should be aware if bolts are dodgy it will take a long time to put together if at all

Once finally together kitchen is fab

The kitchen is a wonderful looking product and my daughter loves it. The durability is fantastic, It takes a little while to build but the instructions are clear and easy to understand. This is good value for money and worth while spending that little bit more on it, to get something that will last a long time.

I bought this kitchen last January for my daughters 4th birthday along with all the accesories to go with it. It really is a stunning kitchen and one of my daughters favorite things which is played with daily. She is almost 5 now and has never tired of playing with it and I expect her and her baby sister will get many more years of fun out of it together! Worth the money in my opinion and so much better than the plastic kitchens (which we also have). A proper toy for every little girl.

I bought this as a xmas gift for my 18month old daughter. Put the kitchen up myself which wasn't difficult. Very strong, sturdy kitchen. Looks amazing up colours are gorgeous and is worth the price. Definatly a good buy! However, very dissapointed that none of the wooden accesories weren't avaliable to buy online and are never in stock in store either. Makes me feel like taking the whole kitchen back!

We brought this for our two year old at christmas... A fab kitchen in which she has spent many hours making 'cakes' and 'tea'. All this cake making just about makes up for the three hour slog it took me to assemble it. We haven't had problems with split wood however i do suggest to not let little one's make actual drinks on kitchen; trying to dab kitchen dry strips off the paint work.

Hands are fab on clock for time telling, dials move on cooker, taps turn and draw comes out of oven.

Overall we all love this wooden kitchen... Oh and try buy it on offer as we payed full price to later find £50 off!!! *face in palm*

I bought this kitchen when it was on offer. It is a lovely kitchen, and I'm sure my children will have hours of fun with it.

However, even though I have assembled several pieces of furniture without too much bother, this took a very long time to put together as the screws with nuts that were provided didn't always thread through.

I had to take the first kitchen back after assembling it as the wood had cracked as it was so difficult to get the screws into the nuts. ELC gave me a replacemnet without any problems, but I have had to give up a further 3 hours of my time to assemble the new kitchen. I experienced the same problems with the nuts. The slide out part also scratched as I slid it outfor the first time. But, I really can't be bothered to take it down and have another replacement. I will be contacting customer service regarding the problems that arose.

We bought this kitchen for our daughter's second birthday, after much research. We took advantage of a significant discount which made the item competitive with other equivilent toy kitchens on the market. At its full price we would not have chosen this one.

The kitchen is well made and relatively easy to assemble. It took under 2 hours to assemble and was not too difficult. It is a great size for my 2 year old daughter and also not unattractive to have in our living room!

The taps turn, as do the cooker dials and these have a clicking sound effect too. The little curtains drawer and the hands on the clock rotate.

The down sides of this product are that the shelves are a bit too narrow, the doors are really quite stiff to open for a small child and the sink does not come out, so water play is not really feasable. The main downside however is that the kitchen comes with no accessories, which are necessary extras as pretend play is not possible without.

I would recommend this product if you can take advantage of a sale/promotion and if you already have some accessories for use with it.
