My one year old grandson loves pushing it along and likes all of the activities, it keeps him occupied for a long time. Very easy to assemble.
The finish on the one we received was not great, would be worth checking all of the parts before assembling.

Bought for our grandson's first birthday, he loves it. He can push it around and manoeuvre it easily. He loves the tools and took one out in his pushchair and held it all day.

This is a robust product, with plenty to keep my one year old busy. He loves the mallet especially and the shape sorter on the side. It is very sturdy and he enjoys using it as a push-along baby walker.
It took quite a while to build. Also, the shape sorter will allow any of the shapes through any of the holes!

Many activities as well as walking.
A huge number of parts which need assembly with less than clear instructions.

Bought this for my 12 month old Son and he loves it! Very well made and holds up to the hammer well! He's unsteady on his feet at the minute so we left the wheels off for now but he's still able to push it along without it going too fast for him

Works well on carpet and hard floors. My grandson loves all the extra tools.
Assembly instructions inadequate, I found it quite difficult and had to enlist my husband to help

Here's a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Wooden Activity Workbench

  1. A shopper asked on
Does thw walker have a brake for when baby is learning to stand?
    1. Olwen replied on
No it does not, but wheels have rubber on them so it doesn't go too quickly. This is a lovely toy . You wont be disappointed.
    2. vikki replied on
Although it doesn't have a brake I found the rubber band on the wheels slows it down especially if it's on a carpeted floor. My little one loved pulling himself up on it and when he grew more confidant he soon realised that it goes a lot faster on the wooden floor and now he's whizzing around!
    3. Seana replied on
No there is no brake, but the walker is quite sturdy so I don't think it would 'run away' from the child unless it was on a slope.
  2. A shopper angela asked on
Hi can you tell me how heavy this is...is it flat pack...my daughter will need to carry it back to France
    1. Seana replied on
It is flat pack but not too heavy and package easily carried.
    2. Samantha replied on
Hi yes it's flat pack. I have checked the box and there is no exact weight so iv weighed the assembled product and it weighs 3.3kg - if you add the box I think it wouldn't be anymore than 4kg. It's an easy to manage box, not big and bulky. Hope this helps.... Really cool toy!
  3. Proud Oma asked on
How long would an average Grandmum need to assemble it?
    1. vikki replied on
I would say it would take about an hour to assemble, the only problem i had was trying to get the 'press in screws' in as the instructions lead you to believe that you can just press them in with your thumbs. I found this impossible! A good sharp tap with a hammer was the only way I could get them in,apart from that it was very straight forward.
