Great for your child's development:
Matching the noses and animal cards is a good way for your child to develop sorting and matching skills, which is a useful skill for nursery and school. Learning how to play a simple game – taking turns, following the game and having your go – is good for thinking skills and also for social skills. Being able to join in a group activity is a great skill for starting nursery and school. Slotting the noses into the cards is good for developing precision in little fingers. Fine motor skills are so useful for dressing, drawing and writing. Learning the animal names, talking about the animals and making lots of fun animal noises are good for building vocabulary and communication skills.

ELC star quality:
We love the Who Knows Whose Nose Game because it's such a simple but fun game for little ones. It's enjoyable as a game, and also matching up the noses with the cards is enjoyable for your child at any time. Your child can mix up the noses and make some crazy animal combinations. Who knows what sound a moo-pig or a croco-hippo make? Who Knows Whose Nose is a really good first game for your child to try. And making animal noises is always brilliant fun. Moink.

What you need to know:

Pack contents: 10 x plastic noses (2 x cow noses, 2 x hippo noses, 2 x elephant noses, 2 x bird noses, 2 x crocodile noses) 10 x plastic cards (2 x cows, 2 x hippos, 2 x elephants, 2 x birds, 2 x crocodiles), 1 x cotton bag, 1 x instruction sheet

Other toys and accessories available separately.
Playing tips:

Nosing around
Let's help the animals. We've got 10 friendly creatures: the cows, the hippos, the elephants, the birds and the crocodiles. But they're not very happy: our animals have got no noses!

Making the face fit
Let's name all these animals. It's hard with no noses. Let's pick a nose out of the bag and see which creature it fits. We'll complete their faces, and make all the animals happy again.

Crazy faces
Let's see which animals look funny with the wrong noses. Crocodile with a cow nose, or elephant with a bird beak maybe? We can make them look really silly. Let's try making the noise they would make: snap-moo, or trumpet-chirp.

Great for:
Sorting and matching
Learning about animals
Making up silly faces
Feeling lots of shapes
Making lots of animal noises.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter. She loves picking the noses out of the bag and matching them up. It's usually the first game her little friends pick when they come around to play too. Good fun and good value for money

Purchased in the sale so was very good value for money, unsure if would pay £10 full price for it. Very sturdy cards, great game and gives opportunity to make up other games. Our 3 year old enjoys making funny animals and naming them, such as, 'croc-a-cow' and exploring the noises these animals might make, "snap-snap-moo"' Comes with a very handy bag so great for taking out also. Overall, very happy with it.

I bought this for my 27 month old daughter as she is just beginning to need to stimulation of games and already having a few Orchard games (which are fantastic!) I wanted something a bit different.

At first this was a well liked game but it has very quickly lost its appeal as it is just too simple. There are only 5 different animals and hence 5 different noses which means the challenge involved is minimal. In addition to this, my little girl very quickly worked out that all she had to do was feel the noses in the bag to be able to pick the right one each time! Hence there is no competition left in the game anymore. The age range for this is supposedly 2 to 6. I just can not imagine any 4 year old's enjoying this, nevermind 6!

Sorry ELC, I'm usually impressed with your toys but this is a real disappointment for both myself and my daughter.

Bought for my 2year old son as a stocking filler. We sat down on Boxing Day to play with him, but he didnt really understand what he needed to do, despite the age range starting from 2years! In the end we made our own game up, and he likes to delve his hand in the bag and make the animal noises to the corresponding animal - at the end of the game, he gets a sticker or a little treat. Im sure the game will be great in years to come, when my little one understands. My sons cousins enjoying playing it though - they are 4 and 7 x

My Daughter got this a present when she was about 18 months old and she has loved it from day one. She takes it everywhere and it's a great game to take out to restaurants for her to play with.

it's really educational too so she is definately learning whilst playing.
We've had it for 3 months now and it's always being brought out - huge reccommendation from us
