Inclusion of minutes and the past and to text makes for easier understanding of process. My 5yr old grandson is very keen to learn and feel this will really help.
Maybe encasing it somehow would be useful as the first thing he did was to spin the ams round

I ordered this clock to enhance my childminding resources and was delighted to discover when it arrived that it is a working clock.

I have been using it daily to show children the time when their parents will collect them (if they ask this question), and they are fascinated by watching the second hand move round the clock face.

If you were to ask me what improvements might be made to the clock, I would say that, perhaps you could give the hour hand a different colour. For example, the learning opportunity might be enhanced if the hour hand could be made black to match the hour numerals on the inside of the clock face, in order to help children distinguish that it has a different role from the minute hand (which is blue to match the blue outer area of the clock).

Other than this, perhaps adding a 1/4 symbol beside the '15' and the word 'quarter' at each side of the clock might further enhance the learning opportunities that it offers. (I've put 1/4 stickers on mine and coloured the hour hand with a permanent black marker to enhance it for my purposes.)

I think it is a great resource, however, and I am delighted with it and would recommend it.

My son is almost 6 and this clock has worked really well in helping him when learning to tell the time.
The clock is quite thin, so I would recommend hanging it on the wall out of the reach of enthusiastic fingers.
It is quiet which makes it suitable for a bedroom clock.
We found the numbers to be clear and easy to read. Bit on the small side for a bedroom clock, but NOT TOO small.
Very happy with this clock.
Delivery was fast.
