The children have really enjoyed playing with this. It is simple and easy to use. The coark board is 21x15.5cm in size. We transferred the tacks that attach the wooden shapes into a container straight away to stop them getting lost and same for the wooden pieces. Generally good value for money.
The hammer handles are a little short (12cm) for older children and could with being a bit longer for comfort and ease of use (if one wishes to teach a chiold how to hold and use a hammer correctly). Comments elsewhere have suggested the cork board breaks easily, so we have initially made sure they have a firm support and will eventually attached them permanently to something stronger. So far they are OK, but they have only been in use for a few days, so cannot comment longterm.

Colourful shapes and easy for the child to nail onto the board. Also easy to remove shapes. Enjoyment factor of bashing the nails in with the hammer is a big plus. Purchased for 4 years 3 months old boy.
As other reviewers mention, a container for the nails would be useful otherwise they will just scatter everywhere and could be dangerous.

It is a lovely creative toy that will promote imaginative skills, it's tactile and the hammering of the pins improves fine motor skills.
The wooden pieces in this particular set are multi layered wooden pieces, some of the pieces in my set have split apart, be aware that the age suggestion is 3 years plus, I have given my child 3 plus items when a fair bit younger at my discretion and based on skill level but would be cautious with this toy, pins and splitting of small parts needs to be considered.

Old School Favourite
Lots of various shapes
Good rainy day activity
Not sure how long the cork board will last as fairly flimsy.
Pins would have been more ideal with storage pot that all fits in the box.

promotes co-ordination and imagination.
Boys like hammering nails in
needs supervision with the nails, especially if they drop on the floor.
