My husband (who is definitely NOT a keen DIY'er) built this slide by himself. He said the instructions were fairly easy to follow, but it was annoying that none of the holes were pre drilled, so he had to do a lot of measuring for the steps etc. The chute itself didn't have any pre-drilled holes either - just engraved circles where the screws needed attaching. The instructions say you need an electric screwdriver - this was not the case. You need a drill. Once the slide was built, it was strong, and feels really well made.

My children are almost 2 and almost 3. My youngest can easily climb the steps to play on the slide. My kids have used it almost daily. They adore it. The 2.5 hours spent building it were more than worth it for us. The chute is very slippy too - my kids squeal with delight as they use it - as do their friends! I am hoping to order the TP slide extension, to prevent the kids sliding onto the floor. I am just waiting to hear if it's compatible with this slide.

The ELC listing for the TP Forest wavy slide and sandpit says it comes with 2 steps - ours had 3 included, and enough fixtures to use all 3. The instructions only mentioned 2 though, so I am not sure if this was a stroke of good fortune for us, or if they have decided 3 steps are necessary. (I hope it's the latter).

We haven't added the sandpit aspect yet as we're about to replace the grass, so it'll be moved around quite a bit in the coming months. I'll update this review once the sandpit is in use too. For now though, based on the slide, the wooden frame and the assembly... I give it 5/5.

Looks good but when we came to put it together (with both children 2 and 5 yrs old looking on and excited to have a go) there were insufficient screws to complete the job.
Very, very disappointed children and adults.

This slide is definitely for younger children, my 2.5 year old loves it and my 5 year old enjoys it for a short time. I am a little disappointed with the sandpit element of this product, the lining of the sandpit needs to be cut out at time of building and is not fixed at all. We improvised and added a base so we are able to move it around if we want to save the grass underneath. The 'cover' is not a genuine cover and also needs to be cut out and fixed on. Finally this was not something I would have been able to build, it doesn't even have all the pre-drilled holes. My husband who is very handy built it fairly easily but it is certainly not of the standard I would expect from ELC. Thankfully I have a husband with a clamp and power drill otherwise I would've had two disappointed girls.

A beautiful steady slide! Easy to climb on and your child must not be to long to enjoy this slide. My 2,5 year old girl (height 90cm) really enjoys the slide, but I see that my 5 year old boy (height 110cm) less enjoyed the slide, because of the length of the slide and the wave in it.

I would recommend the slide for 2 or 3 year old kids and maybe for 4 year olds.

I bought the slide with 20% discount. That is a really good price for this slide!
