product information

This Shape Sorting Bus is will fascinate your baby with the bright colours and rattling shapes. The bus comes with six activity blocks with rattles, mirror or beads inside, which your baby can enjoy shaking around and exploring.

As your baby grows, you can help them push the blocks through the different-shaped slots on top of the Shape Sorting Bus and then open the back to retrieve them. The Shape Sorting Bus is great for pushing along the floor, filling up and emptying out, matching shapes and colours and stacking the blocks. The bus is also a good toy to encourage crawling, as your baby can try to follow the bus around the room.

Great for your child's development:

Your baby can explore the shapes in the Shape Sorting Bus and discover the activities in them. This is great for building strength and precision in little hands. Pushing the Shape Sorting Bus along is good fun, and your baby will soon be keen to chase after it – which is a great incentive for learning to crawl and walk later on. Discovering how shapes work helps your baby's problem-solving and thinking skills. As your baby develops, they can work out how to slot in the correct shapes into the Shape Sorting Bus by themselves and feel really proud of what they can do – so this bus will last as your baby grows.

ELC star quality:

We love the Shape Sorting Bus because it offers such a rich mixture of activities for inquisitive babies. They can explore the bus and the blocks with their hands and mouth and practise posting the blocks in the back and retrieving them too. As they grow, your toddler can learn how to slot the blocks in the right spaces on the Shape Sorting Bus. This bus is also fun to push along the floor. It's a great all-rounder that will last your baby well into their toddler years.

A great hit,18 month old spends so much time putting shapes in,emptying them out, making bus scoot along the floor, even putting them all in the end of the bus before he could manage matching the shapes to the apertures.ideal for 18 months to 2 and a half I would say as there is definitely an obsession with putting yhings into things!emptying and doing all over again.A great buy.

Good chunky shapes
No circle which would have been easier for a child starting to match shapes.
Degree of instability for children using the bus to push up on to their feet.

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas when she was 14 months. It was a big hit - she loved pushing it around, shaking the toys inside and attempting to sort the shapes. But now - February - the back has come off and won't go back on. This didn't happen by being violently yanked or bashed about so I have to conclude it wasn't very well made. Also, I've seen the same toy with its back missing at a play centre, so I think it must be a design flaw. Shame because though my daughter can still push it around, the toys won't stay inside any more and will probably end up scattered about the house, so the shape sorting function won't be much use.

Great toy that will last for lot longer that most toys because you can use it for a variety of developmental stages. At the moment my little one just loves the shapes and the different things they do, whilst my older one enjoys the shape sorter and filling up the bus will her little people. Only downside is the back door constantly falls off which is why I have not scored it higher.

Bought as a present for my son when he was born. But normally gets borrowed by my 7yo nephew when he comes over. My boy likes the different shapes and rattles, my nephew likes bus as the wheels move.

I have just bought this product for my daughter. When first opening the toy from the packaging i thought great, colorful bus, lovely shapes (better than your typical shape sorter shapes, but then i opened the back door and if fell straight off into my hands, i was really annoyed as i was so excited to give this to my daughter for her to play with.
I took it back to the store and got it replaced, hoping it was just a fault with the one toy, but oh no, same again when i opened this one, you can put the door back on but when you open it again the next time it falls straight off again. You can still play with the bus but it doesn't seem complete without a back door on, its the kind of thing i would expect from poundland or a toy which has been played with for years, not the usual ELC quality, very dissapointed.

Having had the old fashioned tupperware shape sorter ball in the past, I find this one slightly disappointing. Yes it is bright and colourful and the shapes themselves are noisy and fun, but for me the door coming off all the time I find really annoying. The shapes end up getting lost in the bottom of the toy box and the lid disappears under the settee. It's such a flimsy affair. Not what I have come to expect of ELC
