My daughter plays for hours with her dolls house and the additional extras are so cute and durable, but the only thing that spoils this beautiful house & is a shame is that when you purchase the house that there isn't even at least one starter room set provided?

Worth purchasing but quite expensive

I am so pleased I bought this doll house. It is beautiful and really well made, I can't wait to get all the furniture to fill it.
I bought this for my little niece who is currently only 2. I think I will have to "play with / look after" it until she is a little bit older!
My niece and I will have lots of fun, and it's something she can keep and enjoy for many years.

My daughter loves this house. I really like that there is a room in the roof. Basically gives three stories without making the house excessively large.

This house looks pretty but it is cheaply made, the first one I bought had chips in and the paint work on the house was terrible, I returned it for a replacement, the second one had a crack in the roof so I returned it and had a refund. I went to asda and bought one for £40 and it was brilliant with no problems.

Bought for a 3 year old. House slightly too big so I exchanged it for the smaller option "Rosebud Cottage" which also comes with a doll and furniture. Furnishing my first choice "RoseBud House" would have cost too much.

We bought the dolls house for my 3 yr old daughter's Christmas present and were delighted with the quality of the product. She is the perfect age for it and I can see her playing with this for a fair few years.

I bought this dolls house for my daughters christmas present she is 3, i took it out of the box to check it and it was chipped on the corners and the paint on the front of the house was terrible, so i returned it and changed it for another one, i got home took the new one out of the box and this one was chipped on the roof and once again the paint was terrible, i took it back and had a refund. Beautiful looking house but shoddy made with cheap ply wood aand not painted well, or made well, and is not strong and i only paid £50 for it when it was on offer and it wasn't even worth that, no way is this dolls house worth £150. very disapointed.

If you have bought this for a Christmas present I would strongly recommed you open it and check it before the big day.
I now have 3, all with scratches, rough wood (that i would not be happy with a child playing with) or chips on the same front panel, this is not the quality of product I have come to expect from ELC.
The customer service team are very helpful when i phone to complain and are happy to sent a replacement but i am afraid i will have enough to build a whole town before i get one that is acceptable!
I am not sure if this is a result of careless mass production to cope with the Christmas rush or i am just unlucky!!

I brought this dolls house for my granddaughter three years ago, she is now six and still plays with it frequently, I know have another granddaughter who is three this month and now have brought her the same house, I know she'll love this and again have many years of enjoyment playing with it.
