Great for your child's development:
Thinking up fun things to do with Spiral Art kit – like decorating cards to give to friends – helps foster your child's creative side, and the patterns themselves feed your child's growing imagination. A spiral could become a picture of a tunnel, a flower, a star or an alien planet. Learning to put the pen-tip in the little holes and turn the cogs around and around is a fantastic way for your child to develop dexterity in their hands.

ELC star quality:
We love Spiral Art because we had so much fun playing with this toy when we were little. It encourages your child to explore and enjoy traditional skills, while having a lovely time. There's something really magical about seeing the patterns take shape.

What you need to know:

Contents: 1 x outer frame, 5 x inner frames, 6 x cogs, 4 x pens, 20 x sheets of paper and 1 x instructions and ideas leaflet.

How to use Spiral Art: Place a sheet of paper underneath the frames. Use the coloured pens to move the cogs around the different frames to create amazing patterns. Create unique designs every time by mixing and matching the different frames and cogs.

Spin the spirals
Let's move the cogs around the frame to create an amazing pattern. We can try different cogs, move the paper a little, and use more coloured pens to create our own unique designs.

Spiral art ideas

This is a total waste of money. The plastic inserts are impossible to fit into the frame and therefore the cogs can't be used. Wish I'd returned it for a refund.

The separate inserts don't stay together and so the poor child cannot twirl the cogs round...just ended up in the bin. Not what i would expect from ELC

ELC should be embarrassed by this product, it does not stay together therefore the cogs do not go round, the only good thing my daughter liked was the pens and paper provided. Do not waste your money on this item, your child will also end up very frustrated with it, it's gone in the bin!

my daughter recieved this for her 4th birthday. The design means that a child couldn't put this together themselves, even my husband and I struggle, only for it to fall apart as my daugher tries to draw with it. She has become very frustrated with it, so it will be going back to the shop and swapped for something she can actually enjoy!

This is so difficult to fit together. If you do manage to fit it together for your child (They can't do it themselves) then when they move a cog around the frame moves making a very wiggly picture. When ever you need to change the paper, it all falls apart again! Disasterous!

I regularly buy from ELC and have found on the whole their products to be excellent however, I found this difficult to use both to construct and then use. This would definitely not be something a yound child would be able to use. Do NOT buy. I have asked other friends who also bought this product and they have had the same experience. I am a mother of three children, two boys and one girl.
