product information

My First Scribbler means your toddler can enjoy scribbling, drawing, doodling and stamping whenever they like. Great for fun early creativity.

My First Scribbler comes complete with three chunky drawing tools (Zebra, Monkey and Elephant) for your toddler to create all kinds of exciting pictures. Designed specially for little hands to use, the three tools are a pen (Monkey), a zig-zag roller (Zebra) and a pawprint stamp (Elephant). Even the littlest hands can easily hold these chunky tools, which click back into the scribbler for easy storage. Your toddler will soon learn to wipe the scribbler clean so they can start again. My First Scribbler is ideal for enjoying mess-free art at home, and also good for taking out with you, and enjoying on journeys. My First Scribbler is made from chunky durable plastic, with a useful carry handle for toddlers on the move

Great for your child's development:

My First Scribbler is a fantastic start to creative play for your young child. Because it is mess-free your toddler can enjoy scribbling, doodling and stamping whenever they feel like it – which is wonderfully liberating. Holding the three drawing tools and making marks is a good start for pencil control later on. As they scribble and stamp, your toddler will develop valuable fine motor skills, which are so useful for dressing, drawing and writing later on. My First Scribbler is also a great tool for playing drawing games together. Playing simple games – such as you drawing an animal and your toddler naming it and making its sound – as a lovely way to encourage your young child to build conversation skills and enjoy learning new things.

ELC star quality:

We love My First Scribbler because it's just so perfect for young children to enjoy art whenever they like – just as they are starting to really enjoy independent play. With its three easy-to-grip tools, your toddler can try out all kinds of shapes and scribbles whenever they choose to. And the wipe-clean surface means your toddler can try endless new ideas as they grow and develop. My First Scribbler is also a really good toy for taking away with you, and also ideal to help keep your toddler amused when you're with friends or out for a meal. It's great for playing simple games together too.

very disappointing, usually ELC has much better quality than this, product is not very sturdy, the screen doesn't clear and the stamper is very faint.

This keeps my 19 month old happy for a little while. He can't master the monkey/zebra pens but likes the elephant stamp.

It doesn't feel like it would withstand tons of use, not too sturdy. But overall it's pretty good and as he gets more adept he will get more out of it.

I was very disappointed with this, I bought one 5 years ago for my eldest son which he loved, so I was very surprised at how much the quality had gone down. The new one is practically impossible to clear, the body of it is really thin it wouldn't cope with any sort of pressure and considering its supposed to be for 18 month old children it just isn't good enough. I am now really cross I have to take the time to return it to the shop!
In short the quality is so bad it isn't fit for purpose, it's the sort of thing you expect from a discount shop not ELC!

Both my partner and my son love this scribbler. The chunky mark makers make it easier for my toddler to draw. He loves rubbing out his work when he has finished and making patterns with the stamps. Its so hard wearing it gets a big 10 out of 10 from me..trust me our little chap is a destroyer and the scribbler has been thrown on the floor many a time and still works and looks like new!

I have also brought a couple of these as gifts as I am so impressed with them!

Having waited weeks for this product to be in stock, I finally managed to order it and receive it to give as the Christmas present I wanted for my godson. However I was very disappointed when he opened it to see how poor the quality of the product was. The writing etc on it takes a long while to clear and it doesn't feel very robust.

Would not recommend this product.
