So excited about this dinosaur for our little boys 4th birthday. He is Dinosaur mad.
Looked great in the box.....
Sadly the first one was broken, the second one the tail kept falling off (a common fault apparently) the third one didn't roar and moved on its own and the fourth one did work (hurray!) but was snapped within 10minutes of playing, not excessive force just the usual 4yr old playing running about roaring, the plastic is very flimsy and either needs changing or the age for the child needs moving up. I have 2 boys who love rough and tumble, their toys need to be able to keep up and last. Its annoying enough that it took 4 attempts to get a working model and then it wasn't up to scratch. We went with chad valley in the end, should of gone there first. Good, strong, solid still going strong in our house even after 10 boys all fought over him at the party! (That's good quality in my book if it can withstand that!)

Good toy with realistic dinosaur noises - the only downside is that the walking part is extremely slow so the kids get frustrated that it doesn't move along that well.

We bought our son this dinosaur which he adored but it broke only a month after his birthday. He is very disappointed.

I bought this for my 4 year old dinosaur mad son and it is perfect - the controls are simple, the dinosaur does what its supposed to (walks and roars) and so far it has survived a few drops on the floor! I got this for £18 and it is was excellent value for money.

We got this for Christmas and all love him! My Daughter has named him Mushroom and we all love making him stomp around and roar! Love how he feels, cross between rubber and plastic. His eyes light up and brilliant effect when you turn out all the lights! My Daughter does not find him scary and all children who have played with him also love Mushroom! Only thing negative is his tail clicks and he is alot of money but we all love Mushroom! Rah!

Bought this for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas. Was a little uncertain if she would find it scary as she is only just 3 and it does have a loud roar and quite reptilian movements, but she absolutely loves it. She much prefers it to the cuddly dinosaur she has that also roars and despite it being trodden on and thrown across the floor by her little brother, it has yet to incur any damage. I got this when it was reduced in store and so I thought it was good value, although the normal price is quite excessive for any toy I think. The only thing that drives me crazy it that it starts up whenever brushed past, but the dog is getting used to it now. Defo best kept out of the bedroom if you are trying to creep out at night!

This item is great fun for the three year old who received it as a present however it is awkward, clumsy and the tail falls off, It has now also stopped working. Has a real cheap could-have-been-from-one-of-those-pound-establishments feel despite it retailing for £25, As before, fun though for the three year old.

Christmas gift for my 3 year who loves everything dinosaur, it's the 21st century yet there is nothing remote or easy with the control pad. We all have trouble getting it to walk and 7/10 it doesn't just makes annoying noise. I would like to return but no longer have the box could return as faulty but suspect it will walk on that occasion :( my son likes it but I'm sure the other cheaper non walking dinosaurs would be better, certainly better value.

My son had this for Christmas, while it was working he loved it. However, within 3 days it stopped working alltogether.

I changed the batteries and it still doen't work. I am returning this for a refund. It was played with gently, as it didn't seem very robust. I assumed it was just faulty, however the same problem has happened with my nephews, really disappointing. Unlike usual ELC products I can't recommend this.
