- We bought this climbing frame for our one year old son and four year old daughter.
Delivery was great - I had a call asking me to arrange a convenient time for delivery and the product arrived very promptly. The driver also delivered it all to the back garden for us, which I was very grateful for.
It comes in a lot of bits ... I was envisaging putting it together being a complete nightmare, involving blood, sweat and tears. My husband is fairly good at DIY, I am not, and between the two of us it took a leisurely two and a bit days to put together - but this involved breaking off to do other things and also an impressive three times realising we'd got a bit wrong and having to stop and go back a bit. It was actually quite a fun project to do together. The instructions are *not* particularly clear but it's relatively straightforward so long as you make sure, for example, that you don't use the swing arm support legs to build one of the towers. An electric screwdriver is an absolute must.
Quality seems pretty good, though the platforms are plastic so I'm not sure whether they'll fade and/or become slippery over time. It is pretty imposing (there isn't a lot else in our garden) and is not the most beautiful of structures (it looks a little bit like we've put up a watchtower) but the kids love it.
There are loads of play options including the slide, various swings, sandpit, climbing wall, top platform etc. Our one year old is really a bit too little for it at the moment but he can climb up the slide and then slide back down and we've also got a baby swing so he can use the swing arm too. He also loves the sandpit. It's been a massive hit so far and looks as though it has a good few years in it so I'm very happy with our choice so far (though to be fair the best bit seemed to be when the slide was just lying on the ground waiting to be fitted - the two of them played on it for hours).
We have changed the layout slightly so that the slide is at right angles to the swings rather than coming out at the end - this was fairly easy to do and means it fits much better in our garden. In retrospect I would have liked to rearrange it so that the tower was on the other side, but my husband didn't take this suggestion very well when it came up just as we were finishing off ... We also haven't cemented it down yet but it seems pretty sturdy. Might have to reconsider if one of the kids suffers a concussion.
All in all this has been a great buy so far and I'm happy with the quality, build time, delivery and value for money.
