We gave my daughter this dolls' house for Christmas. It took over 2 hours for two of us to build (I can think of better ways to spend Christmas Eve!), but our daughter loves it. It is impressive in terms of size - taller than an average 5 year old. She enjoys the features such as flushing toilet and real light. Plus it fits Barbies and similar dolls. I have found the quality to be good, and provided the kids don't try to climb on it, it is sturdy enough.

I'm a little disappointed with this, I did read the reviews and someone had said that they would of paid full price. Um I beg to differ I'm gutted it cost £90 - I dont think its worth this sort of price - took a while putting it together need a 2nd pair of hands in some parts. I think if I have a 6 year old fall onto of this it would all fall apart - but hey ho hope my daughter is pleased with it when she sees if on her birthday on wednesday. Sorry guys

A very good Christmas buy for my 5 yr old daughter who is very much into Barbies. Yes it took some time to assemble but worth it in the end. Much better quality than the expensibe plastic Barbie house and very robust and solid. It's quite big so be careful if you've not much room. Its very colourful and my daughter is delighted with it. Her cousin has the same house and they've both played with it continuously since Christmas. There are plenty of additional furniture on the market that would fit if required. I am thoroughly pleased with this item and would recommend it to others.

I bought this when it was half price and then with an extra 20% off so although it was substantially cheaper than the £180 it should not mean that the quality should be any less. First problem was the instructions - poorly organised and not the clearest. The holes which were predrilled for the screws had splintered the wood and so there are a lot of scratches on the interior of the dolls house. The patio section on one of the balconies is badly damaged. When peeling off the numbered stickers they tended to pull off the paint work. We spent a further 20minutes trying to get the piano to work because the batteries hadnt been inserted correctly. It is advertised as a lights and sounds dolls house - however, there is only one lamp, a toilet that makes a flushing noise and a piano that plays awful music. I hardly feel that this is worthy of it being called a lights and sounds dolls house. I would steer well clear of this product unless its cheap. It is very big and my 2 daughters love it so on that basis its going to get a lot of playing with but do not pay £180 for it - you will be wasting your money.

I purchased this for my 6 year old Daughter for Xmas. Excellent value at half price and then an extra 20% off. I ordered this just a few days before xmas and this was delivered very quickly in time for the big day. It did take a while to put together I think approx 2 hours. This is an excellent house with a brilliant build quality. All the screws provided were colour matched for the walls they corresponded with. The house is very sturdy. The lift works with ease no sticking when moving up and down which often happens with these types of toys. Barbies fit perfectly in this house which is what I purchased this for as official barbie house are much more expensive and not near as impressive as this house. My daughter has had hours of fun playing with this house and I am sure she will continue to have many more years of fun with this house. This is a toy that she will not tire of very easy.

First of all i'd like to say I bought this house when it was half price! which is fantasic value for money and I would have bought at full price. Its a xmas present for my 3yr old daughter. we built it last night and took around 3-4hrs (me and my fella, i was on instruction&screw duty, he did the building) so give yourself plenty of time and somewhere free to store the mansion before you commit lol!
features:
*colourful
*modern look
*nearly 4ft tall
*comes with 12 peices of chunky colourful furniture, including a toilet that makes real flushing sounds, a lamp that lights up and a keyboard which plays a funky tune :)
*there's a lift
*perfect for barbies, although the 'sparkel girlz' range will fit 'perfectly'
*will provide hrs of fun for your little girl :)
*will last for years and years...

I don't think i'm even gonna attempt to wrap it, its that big! A big bow around it will do i think, can't wait to see my little girls face light up :)
