The set includes 8 balls and a mini hammer to tap the balls through the holes. There's even a choice between loud or soft mode for energetic or quiet play.

Quick facts:

•Flashing lights and funny sounds
•Comes with hammer to tap balls through holes
•Loud or soft mode
•Encourages standing

Great for your child's development:
Pulling themselves up to play the games on the Light and Sounds Activity Table helps your baby learn to stand with support, and watching the balls come zipping down the chutes gives them plenty of practice at bending down and standing up again. Learning to turn the knobs, pull the lever and knock the balls with the hammer allows your baby to discover cause and effect, and helps develop their fine motor skills.

Here's a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Light and Sounds Activity Table

  1. Christiana asked on
How big is the box that it comes in ?.. As would like to take it over as a gift to friends abroad
    1. Kelly-Ann replied on
The box is quite big would be OK to go in the car but I don't think it would fit in a suitcase.

Sorry I can't be more specific with sizes
    2. Gemma replied on
There's no assembly, so it's as big as the table. I would guess about 50cm tall and 60cm wide.
  2. A asked on
Can somebody tell me the dimensions of this product please? What sort of floor space does it cover? Thank you in advance!!
    1. Nathan replied on
Hi, it's roughly 60 square cm, 50cm high (40 if you remove the top attachments for storage). Sits nicely in the corner of our living room without getting in the way!
  3. Alex asked on
What age is this suitable up to please? We were given one by a friend and my little girl used it to help her stand up. She's now 18 months and a confident walker. We're getting a little short of space and I just wondered if this has appeal for older toddlers, or if it can be banished to the loft anytime soon?!
    1. Christine replied on
My granddaughter is only 14 months and is still exploring it. Only just using the hammer to knock balls through so I'm expecting to use it for a few more months.

My granddaughter is only 14 months and is still exploring it. Only just using the hammer to knock balls through so I'm expecting to use it for a few more months. I think there are a few development opportunities for older toddlers, as she doesn't attempt to turn the cog wheels yet or pull the handle to spin the central section. I guess when they lose interest is when it goes in the loft. Haven't seen anything to move on to just yet.
  4. Laura asked on
Hi I was just wondering if you can get replacement balls for this?
    1. Sarah replied on
Hi Laura, not sure that you can, however the balls for the stacking frog tower and the caterpillar run are all the same size, the frog tower is normally £10.00 or less!

      Hope this helps
    2. Helen replied on
Hi, I'm not sure. I've never seen any specifically for it. But there are lots of others which fit in it and work just as effectively. If you contact early learning/mothercare directly they may be able to help.
  5. Estefania asked on
Hi. Can you tell me the height of the table? It is not to low for a big baby? Thanks
    1. Denise replied on
I don't have the table at my house so I can't measure it for you.I would say it's approximately 20/22inches.
My 1year old grandson can stand at the table and play with everything. His 3 year old brother also enjoys playing with it.I hope this helps. The toy has been very popular.
  6. Claire asked on
Hi, just wondered if anyone could answer a query I have with the light and sound table. I bought the table for my son this Christina's. Can anyone tell me if the lights are supposed to be bright or just subtle. We can hardly see the lights chase round the middle section when activated by the different ball drops etc. They are very low lit. Is this normal? Thanks.
    1. LAURA replied on
Hi yes ours are very dim too. To be honest I don't notice them.
