Great for your child's development:

Great for imaginative play, your little one will love giving Robin Hood, Prince John and Maid Marion their own voices and personalities, and will have great fun creating lots of medieval stories and adventures. ELC star quality:

We love the Happyland Sherwood Castle because it's a great way to inspire your little one's imagination. With figures and accessories, your child will enjoy hours of imaginative play, making up plenty of stories about the characters and bringing them to life by giving each of them a voice of their own.

What you need to know:

-Includes castle, ladder, tree, table, Maid Marion, Robin Hood and a King

Playing tips:

Royal Fun- Be Prince John and take Maid Marion out for a picnic by the tree. Chase after Robin Hood and look out for him at the top of the castle.

Felt it was a little expensive for what it was and would have been nice to have a few more characters as 3 seems an odd number.

I bought this Castle for my 2yr old for Christmas and it's a lovely looking toy. It's chunky which is just right for little hands and bright which is very appealing to young children, also will help young children use their imagination in play which my 2yr old has just started to do. And he's going to love it, can't wait to see him open this Christmas morning.

Bought early as got in sale and put by for my son for Christmas. My little one loves castles and was very pleased with his pressy and has played with lots since. Castle is great (the one I purchased was a brown castle not grey as the one shown) and I think its brilliant that you don't need to buy batteries for this toy.

My little boy just got this for his 2nd birthday, he loves it and has been playing with it for days non stop, very durable as my eldest has autism and has thrown it a couple of times but its still in one piece, would recommend it to anyone.

I was disappointed with this set. You don't get a lot for your money, its just a small plastic toy, it doesn't have any sounds and only has 3 characters. I LOVE happyland, but I could see the kids getting bored with this very quickly so I returned it. Not worth the £15 I paid.

I bought this for my 2 year old for Christmas...ended up giving it to him before though as he had been a good boy for a few days and deserved a nice treat. I bought it with a promotional code which gave me 20% off making it £24. It was then reduced half price to £15... to be honest its not worth £15 let alone £24 and definitely not worth £30! Very basic.
The 3 characters included do not fit in other happyland sets (the fairground for example) as the bases on them are much larger for some reason.
I don't see the point in the tree coming apart, why not just make a whole tree?
Have seen the other colour sherwood castle since buying this and its identical in every way but comes with extra figures, why not include these in the two?!
The ladder doesnt stay upright allowing the child to play with it properly when "climbing it with the figures".
My son enjoys playing with it, but I can see him losing interest in it quite quickly as the figures don't fit with his other happyland toys - he is getting quite frustrated trying to put them in the funfair train to "go home to castle" Such a shame as the other sets he has have been really great, am hoping the many others i've bought him for christmas aren't as poor as the castle :-(

I am so pleased with this toy, it looks beautiful and is very sturdy! It looks as if it will withstand a lot of tugging and rough play from my 2 year old son!!
The toy has a lot of features including the door opening mechanism which makes it a little more fun for my little boy as he has to press the shield button to release the door.
The characters are well suited to the castle and the furniture is lovely! Would definitely recommend for anyone thinking about buying this product to buy it! Your little one's will love it !!!!
