product information

Play out your favourite fairy tales in the open-up palace. Place the king and queen on the balcony or in their thrones and open the palace up to reveal a staircase. With an easy to carry handle, the Happyland Palace Castle is great for taking round to a friend's house, too.

Quick facts:

-Castle opens out for little ones to play inside
-Carry handle for easy portability
-Opening front castle doors
-Includes 4 Happyland people

Great for your child's development:

The colourful Happyland Palace Castle is perfect for inspiring the imagination, with figures and accessories to bring the scene to life with. Handling the figures and moving the accessories about helps build strength in little fingers while boosting hand-to-eye coordination skills.

ELC star quality:

We love the Happyland Palace Castle because it's fun to play with when the castle is closed, but it can also open up to reveal the inside of the castle. Little ones will love making the figures climb up the spiral staircase and going out onto the balcony, and because the figures and accessories are included, there's also room for friends to play.

What you need to know:

-Includes castle, 4 characters and 2 thrones.
-Suitable from 18 months

Playing tips:

Princess for a day- hop out of your royal bed, chase around the towers with the funny jester, and hide behind the thrones to give the king and queen a big surprise.

Play the jester- put on a fun show for the royal family. Do silly tricks, tumble like an acrobat, leap off the balcony, and make the king and queen roll around laughing.

Great for:
Enjoying a wonderful royal playhouse
Bringing the royal family to life
Encouraging talking and learning new words
Moving the furniture and people
Discovering pretend play
Developing strength and precision in little fingers.

This is the worst happyland toy I have ever purchased. As soon as it was taken out of the packaging the doors fell off and they just don't fit properly at all. The queen does not fit in her throne, you have to twist her on in a sideways position. It is extremely poor value for money. If my daughter wouldn't miss it it would have been put in the bin!

My daughter got this as a christamas present and she loves playing with it and chats away to herself all the time while playing but the only thing that really annoys me is the doors. As everyone else says they comes off at the slightest touch which is really annoying. I thought maybe there was something wrong with them but obviously not. If it keeps my daughter happy then I am happy. I wouldn't have like to have paid full price for this so glad it was offer when the gift was purchased. Looking to see what piece I can get her next for her birthday in October.

Over the years we have bought many toys from the happyland collection and the quality is usually great but this toy feels quite flimsy compared to the ones we have bought in the past and I'm glad we didn't pay full price for it. I understand that the doors are often designed to come off so they don't break but the doors on this drop off at the slightest touch. I have given this 3 stars because despite my disappointment with this toy my two little girls love it.

I bought this product at half price, if I had paid full price I would have returned it. As with other reviews the doors on my daughter's castle fall off every time she plays with it, this results in my daughter dragging the castle to the nearest person so they can fix the doors back on. We do have other Happyland products which are of a much higher quality. Saying this - my daughter loves it!

we bought this for our 18 month old but the first time she used it the doors fell off. Not really value for money i would expect a better quality product for the price.

My 20 month old daughter was bought this for Christmas. As soon as she opened the doors on the castle they dropped off. I am really dissapointed with the quality of it, we have had lots of Happyland toys in the past and have always been very pleased with the quality and how long they last.

My only critisism is the catch to open up the castle. Couldn't find any instruction on the box and when I eventually realised what to do it was not easy to manoeuvre. The mini turret on the opposite side to the hinges (which are denoted by several screws) has to be pushed backwards in order to release the catch. The first time of using you are not sure how much pressure to use in case of breakage and it is a bit tricky for a toddler.

My mother in law has bought my 2 year old daughter this for Christmas so she hasn't actually played with it yet. I was very impressed with how big it is when it arrived and I know my daughter will love it! It was half price so excellent value for money. Am not sure I would pay full price for it though
