Here's a list of the questions other shoppers have asked owners of the Happyland London Bus Set

  1. caz asked on
Will it still be interesting for a child who will be turning 3?hes mad in any type if vehicles.
    1. Tina replied on
Yes my little girl was 3 in November and she would still play with it.
  2. Jenny asked on
    What sounds does this make?
    1. Jacqueline replied on
One button makes the sound of an engine starting and a peep peep sound. (Two sounds) the other makes the sound of a bell. My little grandson loves it, and we got more people to fill it.
    2. Teresa replied on
It makes a very good sound of an engine starting up and it makes a sound that is,probably old fashioned now,but one that I can remember.of a double ring given by the conductor, to denote to the driver that he can pull away safely.I love it as it reminds me of my childhood in London.
I bought one for my Anglo/ French relative and one for my twin Grandaughters that live in Denmark

  3. Matilda asked on
How about for a boy just turned 2? Do you think he'll enjoy it for another year or two? (Wondering since it's recommended from 18 months).
    1. Caroline replied on
My son got it for his 2nd birthday in September and he plays with it everyday. It will last for years this bus my nephew who is 5 likes to play with it too, it's a wonderful toy you won't regret buying this
  4. Joanna asked on
Would it be suitable for an 11 month old?
    1. David replied on
      Hello Joanna...
Yes, it is suitable for an 11 month old. It has no tiny parts and is fairly indestructible. An 11 month old might be able to slot the people into their seats, and when the child is a toddler they'll be able to use the characters and the bus in role play.
  5. Alison asked on
Is there a road playmat that comes with the bus, as shown in the photo?

    1. eddie replied on
No road mat but can be purchased seperately we still having great fun, u get a conductor peeps bus sounds like a bus with a ring too, too shelf seats a removable too. Great fun
    2. Emma replied on
No it's just the bus, characters and a little sign.
  6. chris asked on
What are the dimensions/weight of this product please? My daughter lives in Canada and is returning to the UK for a 5 week visit next month and wishes to buy this but wonders if it will easily fit in her suitcase when returning home to Toronto. Thanks.

    1. nicola replied on
I don't have the weight sorry but it's 22cm long, 24cm wide and 19cm high.
  7. Zoe asked on
Do you think this bus is babyish for a little boy who has just turned 4? Many thanks
    1. Kelly replied on
I think it is a little young for a 4 year old as a present. My daughter is nearly 4 and I would not buy her anymore from the Happy Land range
    2. Marilyn replied on
I think it would be rather young for a 4 year old there are more stimulating toys for a lad that age.
    3. Hilary replied on
My granddaughter doesn't play with the bus but she still plays with Happyland. I think it will be too babyish for your 4 year old.
