My daughter 19months was bought this for a Christmas presant, she has only just started taking notice in it, although it holds her attention for a while she is getting increasingly annoyed that the doors fall off as soon as she touches them. I feel this toy is a bit of a let down and could be better quality.

The quality of the plastic does not compare to other Happy Land products. The castle floors bend it is so thin. My 4 year old nearly snaps the turret off when she opens it and my 13 month old has no chance of opening it. The doors have fallen off and won't go back on after only four weeks. It was a birthday present for my youngest and she plays happily with it but as has been said in other reviews the people don't fit in the furniture and I'm very disappointed with the quality. Buy the cottage instead - much better.

my daughter loves her happyland toys & this is no exception however i'm a little disappointed that the doors do not stay on, they just keep falling off and it's quite tricky to open up aswell, but apart from that this is really pretty & my girls love the princess and all the accessories

We have started collecting the happy land set and bought this a few weeks ago. The plastic doesnt feel thew same as all the other happy land items. Its thinner. The people have larger bottoms so they wont fit in standard happy land bits. Also its a push to get them to fi in to the chairs that come with the castle. The bed is too small for any of the people to lie down in. The doors come off easily and are a fiddle to get back on. Not happy at all!!!

i bought this for my 18 month old daughter and the doors fall of all the time they dont fit very well at all which frustrated my child so much that after two weeks we thew it away as its not the same without doors and all three fell of so we just kept the figures my advise when buying happyland is to open and check the quality as this is the second set that the doors fell of and it kind of puts you of as i thought it might last a bit longer and without doors its just broken toy

Very disappointed with set, it's not the same quality as the rest of the happyland. In fact it doesn't seem like it's part of it, or from elc. I bought this for my little girls 2nd birthday as she has nearly of both kinds of happyland the fairy and normal, the people don't even fit in her other sets. Sorry elc this is a big thumbs down from us.

Bought this for christmas for my daughter and has been a brilliant buy. She loves to play with this castle and the chunky figures are great for little hands. My only complaint with it are the doors, they pop on and off but rarely stay back on, can't fault the durability of the rest of it though, it has been carried and dropped loads of time and still looks like new!

My daughter doesnt seem to play with this one as much as her others. The doors come off really easy but they do clip back on easy too. She likes the furniture and the figures but tends to take them somewhere else to play with. Would only recommend it as a good first happyland toy to get them started as its slightly cheaper and still helps them imagine while they play. My daughter already had the windmill and much preferes to play with that

My daughter has lots of HappyLand toys. This was a new addition for her birthday. In comparison to her other HappyLand toys I think it is quite poor quality. The doors fall off all of the time, and although they go back on easily, fall off again as soon as they are touched! Not much fun for a 2 year old who wants to pretend the figures are coming in and out of the castle. The figures are also larger than other HappyLand figures and so can not fit into cars etc supplied with other HappyLand sets. The furniture is also very plasticy and quite bulky. I would not recommend to a friend.
