This trike is great. My grandson really loves going out on the trike. Sun canopy really does keep the sun off, it is a great way of taking them out to fetes etc and they have fun too!

I bought this trike for my son's first birthday thinking that we might take advantage of the lovely March weather. Having just assembled the product I have found it to be nothing short of atrocious. Firstly I found that the product was partly assembled insomuch as all the screws included were already screwed into the product. This made interpreting the, nigh-on incomprehensible, assembly instructions virtually impossible as items had already been put together and secured in the wrong order. I found it most fortunate that I own a comprehensive tool kit as the only time during construction where a spanner was required the nut was actually inaccessible to the included tool.

The construction of the product itself is poor. There are stray sections of rogue plastic left from the moulding process which, in one case, ensures that the rear wheels make a lovely grinding sound as they rotate. The upper half of the shell case covering the handlebar fixing is mis-shapen and as such does not clip into the lower half as it is supposed to. The yellow surround bar fits so tightly into place that it pushes against the handlebar upright and has forced a slight stress crack into the plastic. Finally, the steering from the parent handle is unbelievably stiff and requires two hands to operate effectively.

In terms of actual usage, the fixed foot rests could only be used by a child with exceptionally short legs. My son’s legs reach well beyond these rests, but are nowhere near to the actual pedals, meaning that his feet graze the floor as he is pushed along. “Grow and Go” is a somewhat misleading phrase. I purchased this product in the sale, but even at half its regular price it falls far short of my expectations. I will be returning the product as soon as I can.

I was so disappointed with the trike. My boys have both enjoyed using it, but we found the rear wheels broke after only a few uses. Unfortunately the company that manufacture the product are unwilling to do anything but redirect you to their spare parts website and tell you that its the number one seller of trikes. They stated that the wheels were a wear and tear product and arent expected to last the lifetime of the trike. This product is certainly not worth the money, and in my view is the biggest waste of money we have spent since having children.

The concept of this trike is great - it grows with the child up to 3 years old.
However when we go ours the steering on it was so stiff that it couldn't be steered using the handle.
We get a replacement an it had exactly the same problem so I assume all of these will be similarly stiff.
In the end we spent an extra £25 on a SmartTrike from Amazon which had far superior build quality and features. and was well worth the extra money.

Reassuringly robust and easy to assemble this is a real hit with our 1 year old daughter. She particulary enjoys chasing mummy or daddy.
It is great for short trips, and we think she has much more fun going out on it than in her pram as she can interact with what is going on around her more easily, particulalry waving at everybody. It's not for long journeys, but great for nipping down the park or just to get outside and play for 10 minutes.
It is also easy to clean and seems to be comfortable.

As others have said, the instructions leave a lot to be desired, but if you look at the photos on the box you should be ok. Otherwise, very pleased, much more solid than I was expecting, my daughter loves it, she won't get out of it, although I'm sure the novelty will wear off!

This trike is very good value for money. Arrived a day late even though paid for express delivery, but at least it arrived! The only issue we have with it is the instructions to put it together are terrible! Theres no wording, just pictures and arrows, which doesnt explain alot and we had to guess most of it, often with trial and error! once we managed to put it together (after an hour) we were happy with the product and our little boy loves it! ideal 1st birthday present, just make sure youve got your patience with you!

i bought this for my 1yr old son it was the cheapest option so i wasnt expecting it to be as durable and sturdy as it seems to be! i love the brightness of the colours. it has a strap around the seat which you cannot see from the picture which is a bonus! you can steer the bike from the parent handle, it also has a steering lock! great buy at half price! and it grows with your child!
