Super tons of bubbles and great fun.
Not to be used inside or tilted at all as it leaks like crazy.

We received two of these for our daughters second birthday in April, they have since both broken with the on/off button stuck on. The only way we can turn them off is to take the batteries out which is a time consuming affair.

They were fun for three months but we now have two machines that can hardly be used, and for what they cost I consider them poor value for money.

This was a big hit at my 4 year old daughter's birthday party and has got lots of use since. Only thing is that we have to keep turning it on/off as it produces so many bubbles!

Brilliant, ! Altho ELC staff told me it had bubbles with it included. This is not true, and we had to drive around on a sunday evening trying to find bubbles to go in it - as it was for a party!

I'd been very disappointed by reviews and prices for bubble machines sold elsewhere, some costing as much as £35!!

I thought I'd take a gamble with this little gem, as I've always found ELC products to be of good quality.

Flora the fish is a bright and cheerful thing to look at with a large mouth for spewing out the bubbles. It feels sturdy and well made, but you need to be careful that you don't overfill it, otherwise bubble mixture would get into the motor. Likewise, you need to rinse the machine out carefully to avoid water splashing into the housing. I think all bubble machines have this drawback.

What about the bubbles? Flora spews out a cascade of bubbles - it's just brilliant. I had to switch it off from time to time when using indoors as it was releasing so, so many. It comes with a small bottle of bubble mixture that lasts around 30 mins or so. You can also buy the big bottles of bubble mixture from ELC which are great value and work treat too.
Be careful though on using inferior mixtures. We tried using a cheap bottle we received in a party pack and it didn't work very well.

Using indoors is OK, but it releases so many bubbles that the floor quickly becomes damp and slippy. I sometimes put it on in the bathroom when the kids are in the bath, which is great fun.

In short then, feed this fish the right mixture and it will not disappoint. I can't wait to use it in the garden in the summer time.

Oh, it doesn't come with batteries (what do you expect at this price and quality), so you need to stock up with some good quality AAs (6 in total), and you need a small philips screwdriver to access the battery compartment.

I loved it, and yes, the kids did too. If you want a great bubble machine at a sensible price, then this is the one.
