This is in our room as baby is still in with us, but we put it on if she will not settle before bed, she goes quiet right away! we put the main lights on for changing times and it keeps her occupied and keeps little hands away from nappies! We use the light projector to calm her down either on while we cuddle her to sleep or when she wakes for feeds, its a nice dull light (projector only) so doesnt wake her up too much and shes back asleep before the end of the feed!
I think the time frame before it goes on to standby mode is safe, it will stay on for as long as your baby cries, turning on again every time they cry, once theyre asleep and it hasnt went off for a while it goes into a standby mode so if baby cries it will not go on, i personally think this is good because if a baby or child cries in the night, they obviously need you for something. It is also good the way it goes into standby as a lot of children get very noisy in their sleep, murmering and tossing and turning, coughing etc, things which would not wake them up but would set the lights on which would then probably wake up baby.

I bought this for my son to help settle him at bed time, you can only start the music and lights with the remote and if he wakes up during the night the remote stops working after a while which means you have to get up anyway to turn the actual model off and then on. The remote also seems to be on the same frequency as our radio as it turn the radio on which is not helpful when trying to get a baby to sleep. The projector is not good for quality and has stopped working after a few weeks. for the amount I paid for this product its not really worth it. I'm afraid I would not recommend this to my friends.

Was given this as a present when my son was born. I started using it when he was 9 weeks old and in the transition of going into his own bedroom, He loves the lights and music. When i change his nappy i put the projector on, which he loves also. Fabulous present and am now buying one for my sister.
