I haven't got any it's not even an abacus
I didn't want this I wanted an old fashioned abacus. The picture on the website showed this alphabet thing and a normal abacus
I was convinced that I had selected the abacus but when the parcel arrived and I checked the website again there wasn't even an abacus for sale. Now I've got the drag of returning the article.
Word of warning don't do Xmas shopping in a hurry!

Its a good size its not to big so little hands can play with it. It is also light enough for them to pick up easily.

I saw the picture of the product which showed the alphabet teaching frame and also an abacus. If you see the advertised picture the baby is actually shown playing with abacus. I thought that in £15 they were selling both the alphabet frame and the abacus. But when it arrived firstly the box was damaged badly and secondly I was disappointed to see no abacus. Anyways the picture is really misleading and should be changed.

My grandson really enjoyed playng with a toy like this at the dentists - this was why I ordered it. That one was bigger and seemed to be easier to use for smaller fingers.
Some of the words on the one at the dentists seemed more appropriate - a for apple, k for key, which are words he already knows, plus it had a number of dots corresponding to each number, rather than the word, and I feel for younger chldren that it is easier to relate number of dots to a number, rather than just having words.
However on the plus side, this one has much more colour and so is more interesting

Initially i bought one piece for my daughters 2nd birthday. she thoroughly enjoys playing with it. Well made toy, smooth finish and the letters and pictures are finished with perfection, no rough edges and the pictures are good. I have bought another piece for my friends sons birthday aswell. had a voucher for 20% off so got this piece at a great price!! Would definitely recommend this product.

As has been said in another review, the frame is small, but it does function well. it is perfect for my 2 year old daughter to take to nans house for quiet learning time when grandad is having a nap.

she knows all of her letters and numbers now and never gets bored of turning the blocks over to impress nan!

a classic wooden learning toy and my little girl loves it :) sometimes the basics are the best
