We bought these crayons for my 11 month old daughter rather than the 'my first crayons' so that she would become use to holding these types of crayons. Fantastic value for money - and they are just right for little hands. would make a great present or stocking filler. Fab for boys or girls.

These are fab as first crayons but ditto previous review in that the choice of colours are lacking.
Having said that, my 2yr old has used them daily for the past 8 months! She loves drawing with them.

My son got these as a stocking filler and when they were opened we were very disappointment, despite it looking like you get a wide range of colours in the picture, you actually only get about 8 colours but duplicates - for example 4 blues and 3 yellows, but all the same shade. I'm not sure what the point of this is? Perhaps we got a faulty box but it seems very disappointing for ELC

Have bought the other varieties of Soft Stuff previously without any problems and decided to buy this one for a change as I thought my 2 year old daughter would like the glitter/pearl effect .
When I opened them the glitter tubs were fine but the two pearlescent tubs were very dry and crumbly - they wouldn't soften at all so my daughter couldn't do anything with them. Ended up throwing them in the bin and buying her "play-doh" instead.
